Support Maddy Pfeiffer!

This Cat Will Destroy You

Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 7th, Matthew “Maddy” Pfeiffer is subpoenaed before the NW grand jury. The State will likely incarcerate Maddy then. For those in the Seattle area, show up to the rally in front of the courthouse at 8:30am to show Maddy some love. Everyone: participate in the week of solidarity. I’m sure no one will mind if you give your gift of violence early, before Maddy goes in.

And once they’re in jail, write to them. Maddy’s address will be posted as soon as it is available. Continue writing to Matt and Kteeo.

March against police repression (Bloomington, IN)

from Anarchistnews:

This past Friday, a small but wily group of anarchists and other angries took to the streets in a show of solidarity with those facing state repression. The specific call out for the march was to express solidarity with Grand Jury resisters Matt, Maddy, and KteeO, to rally against the criminalizing of the homeless population in Bloomington, and to convey ongoing solidarity with those who still carry charges from the anti-prison noise demo last new years.

Free Sergey!

from Anarchistnews:

Sergey is a friend of ours who was arrested early this morning on suspicion of firebombing a cop car in NE Portland. Their family says Sergey was beat up by the police while in custody and is in the medical unit. They are being held on three felony and three misdemeanor charges, including attempted arson.

Please come to Sergey’s arraignment tomorrow (Tuesday): 2pm in Courtroom 3 of the Justice Center in downtown Portland.

Please donate to Sergey’s legal support fund! This money is going toward their $3000+ bail and to pay for a lawyer. The sooner Sergey’s family can raise bail, the sooner Sergey will be out.

Maddy’s statement on their subpoena

A rally has been called to support Maddy Pfeiffer. November 7th, 8:30am @ Seattle Federal Courthouse, 700 Steward St.

On October 25th, the day before my 23rd birthday, two FBI agents wearing ill-fitting khakis and too much gel in their hair, served me a subpoena for 9am on November 7th. I knew my fate right away: 18 months in SeaTac Federal Detention Center. Matt, Kteeo and Leah have all been imprisoned for their refusal and I will be the next. Despite the urgings of lawyers, agents and judges, I only have one option: non-cooperation. Any other option is unthinkable.

I am being asked to testify before a Grand Jury on November 7th and will likely be detained on that date for refusing to cooperate. The vultures of the state will try to imprison my comrades and me until we give in. We will never give in.

From so many different perspectives, for so many reasons, snitching is never an option. I will never betray the people I care about, the ideas which I hold dear, or the commitments I have made. I will never give any information about crimes, should I have any knowledge of them, nor will I give information about my personal relationships. I will never cooperate with this or any attempt to stop struggle. I will never cooperate with the systems of control which I loathe. If the federal government chooses to imprison me for my refusal, then so be it. I expect no less from them.

The official reason the state gives for imprisoning those who refuse to cooperate is to coerce testimony. If they know anything about me or my friends, they know that this will never work. Some have said that this Grand Jury is about trying to repress people’s political opinions and free speech. No doubt this is true. My subpoena states that I am being asked to testify about events that took place on May 1st. The state is trying to use broken windows as a reason to ruin people’s lives. This is absurd, and I will oppose it to the fullest. This life-ruining system which they call “justice” is organized to defend property and capitalism. This system is against everything I believe in.

My imminent imprisonment is an attempt to disrupt struggle against domination in all its forms. What the vultures cannot understand is that attempts to repress this struggle will only embolden it, whether we are inside the walls of the Federal Detention Center or in the streets. The growing list of solidarity actions, from St. Louis to France, demonstrate an inspiring continuity in this regard.

In silence, we roar!
Matthew “Maddy” Pfeiffer

Letter from Kteeo

Saynothing received this by email with the following note:

*I received this letter from KTeeo in response to a letter I wrote two weeks ago. KTeeo asked me to distribute their words via word of mouth or the internet to comrades in the Bay. I hope this is an appropriate arena for these words.*

Friends New and Old In the Bay!
I want to thank you so much for all y’alls support- I would not be able to
do what I do without the amazing support work of others- so again thank
you, thank you for your kind words, your letters, and for doing outreach.
I want to assure you that I am doing fine. I have been making friends and
learning a lot both from books and from those who I have met. I spend my
days reading, writing, corresponding, working out and hanging out with my
new friends. Being in here, spending time with them further reminds me
that every prisoner is a political prisoner and deserves the type of
incredible support that I have been receiving. Hopefully one day we will
have the network in place to make that a reality.
Anyway- I just wanted to say ‘thank you’- to let you know how I’m doing-
and to apologize to anyone I have not written back yet (I only have
access to 20 stamps a week). I promise I will respond, all of your
letters have meant so much to me, it just may take me a hot minute. I
would also like to say that I would love to keep hearing from y’all and
getting to know y’all better.
Keep Smiling- Keep Struggling

In Solidarity,
Kteeo

New subpoena(s) in Olympia, WA

One friend and comrade has received a subpoena in Olympia. Posts on Facebook suggest FBI agents were creeping around another house looking for someone but did not find them. So we have one, maybe two new subpoenuts.

It ain’t over ’til civilization has been destroyed.

Arson of private security vehicle (Bristol, UK)

from Pugetsoundanarchists:

last night fire erupted in the tranquillity of bristols well-to-do redland area, targeting a marked vehicle of Standfast Ltd. besides the usual functions that led us to attack a company invested in “security” (as always, securing the sanctity of private property in mass society) one of their many cctv contracts in bristol, bath, avon, somerset and gloucestershire is both state and private schools, where as you can read in the newspapers even the toilets are no escape from the cameras.

Appreciation for Dangerous Individuals

from Rififi Bloomington:

In spite of cold rain, 20 people held a microphone demo in People’s Park against state repression and social cleansing last Friday, October 19. The focus was solidarity with anarchists grand jury resisters in the Pacific Northwest and with the homeless people in Bloomington currently subjected to a campaign of police harassment and violence. Both are blemishes in the facade of commodity-democracy that the police would like to quietly wipe out. Banners against the jail and supporting prisoners’ struggles were also hung, and a cacophonous sound system played anti-police tunes.
